Replenishment coverage rules assigned per item — how they change the period an order suggestion covers.
Order Policies are managed under Data Management. They define the coverage period an order suggestion should cover for a given item.
When an Order Policy is applied to an item, the Supply Planner generates order suggestions for the coverage period defined in the policy, rather than the standard coverage policy of 1 month.
Order Policies are assigned at item level through the Items master data, where you select from the policies you have created in the Order Policies worksheet.
