Joice Tae Ozaki leads product at PLAIO, where she and her team build a user-friendly platform for supply-chain planning for mid-sized pharma companies, many of which still run their planning on spreadsheets. Her current focus is how AI and agentic patterns fit into planner workflows - questions of trust, auditability, and what a planner actually wants an agent to do versus do for them.
Before PLAIO, Joice was VP of Product at Controlant, and before that led product and UX at Trackwell. Her path into product ran through visual and user experience design, including earlier roles as a game producer and art director. She speaks English, Portuguese, Japanese and Icelandic, and has lived in Japan, France, Brazil, the US and Iceland.
