Demand Planning
Running forecast generation, creating and deleting custom plan types, saving forecast versions, and simulating scenarios from the grid.
Grid Actions let planners run forecasting models, customise plan types, and simulate what-if scenarios directly in the Grid View — automating, optimising, and comparing demand planning strategies across SKUs.
Grid Actions live behind the Action Button (the … icon) at the top-right corner of the Grid View.
| Action | What it does |
|---|---|
| Generate Forecast | Applies a system-generated forecast using identified models based on historical data. Best for trend-based and automated forecasting. |
| Add Plan Type | Starts a new forecast plan from scratch or copies an existing one. Optionally adjust scale factors and enable what-if simulation. |
| Save Forecast Version | Snapshots a plan when decisions are finalised. Useful for finalised forecasts and audits. |
| Delete Plan Type | Removes a selected forecast plan type for cleanup or replacement. Only custom plan types can be deleted. |
| Export Excel | Downloads a local copy of the worksheet as an Excel file. |
When creating a new plan you can choose:
Select the plan type to delete and click Delete.
