Using Filters Effectively

The Filters Panel narrows large datasets so you can focus on what matters. Filters slice data across any worksheet based on values in any column, without sorting or scrolling manually.

The Filters Panel

The Filters Panel sits on the left-hand side of the worksheet interface and lists the filters that match your dataset’s columns.

Filters are dynamic: the data updates in real time as you change a selection.

Multi-select and combined filters

Most filters allow multi-select — several items within a category, such as multiple SKUs, locations, or order statuses.

Combining filters isolates very specific slices of data:

• Forecasts for a specific market in a specific timeframe
• Orders above a certain threshold from a particular vendor

Detail filters

In a detailed worksheet view — such as Supply Orders or an inventory view — PLAIO may show additional filters at the bottom of the panel. These relate specifically to the detail rows and allow finer refinement.

Clearing filters

• Clear one filter — click the X on that filter.
• Clear everything — click the X at the top of the Filters Panel.
